When internet users click on certain content these videos appear. The video also normally features a banner which displays a coupon which is run alongside.
In-Banner Video: These videos are embedded in banners on websites. Some of these videos run when the users click on the banners, some run automatically. The banners often incorporate a coupon.

    • Cell Phones

    • SMS: Short message services are available to most cell phones on the market today. Coupons are delivered to consumers who then take the cell phone to the store to be redeemed. Alternatively, a code can be sent to the cell phone which can then be entered online to receive the coupon.
WAP: Wireless Application Protocol Sites are sites specifically designed for cell phones. These sites can be access by the consumer using their cell phone internet browsers. The coupons are displayed on the site as well as directions to the store, the hours of operation and any other information the advertiser wishes to disclose.
Mobile Applications: Cell phone owners can download software applications that enable them to view, save and use coupons from WAP sites. The application is saved on the cell phone and can be used at any time by the cell phone user.

    • There are so many ways to get coupons that one should always have a good supply on hand. Make sure you find out if your cell phone supports these applications and visit wireless application protocol sites to get more coupons. Gone are the days of relying on the Sunday paper for all your coupons.
