  • HISTORY OF MIRASSOU WINEMAKING  California (since 1854)  America’s oldest winemaking family  Six generations of winemaking tradition  More than 150 years of winemaking  Eight uniquely expressive wines (pinot noir, sunset red, chardonnay, riesling, pinot grigio, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, sauvignon blanc, moscato)  The warmer temperatures helped the grapes to reach maturity and develop rich flavor characteristics
  • MIRASSOU PINOT NOIR FLAVORS, NOTES, BALANCE  Fruit forward and approachable in style  Has flavors of cherry, strawberry, and red currant, light vanilla and oak notes.  On the nose, Mirassou Pinot Noir gives forth aromas of earthiness.  A slight whiff of alcohol alongside a pleasant ripe raspberry aroma
  • FLAVORS, NOTES, BALANCE  On the palate  Delicious fruits of raspberry and plum.  The slightest bit of dryness accompanies a dark flavor of cherry, vanilla, and oak.  The finish is short and round with subtle tannins noted on the tongue.  well balanced with a round, full mouth feel.

  • HONEY WINE IS MADE FROM HONEY AND HOPS  Saba Tej, Axum Tej, Nigest wine are Honey Wine  Is a honey wine or mead that is indigenous to Ethiopia, is produced from pure wild flower honey and exotic hops imported from the Highlands of Ethiopia.  It is produced without any sulfites, preservatives, or artificial coloring. It is a semi- sweet wine with 13.5% alcohol content by volume.  Has the flavor of fruitiness, a nice aroma reminiscent of flowers.
