Drag and Drop upload Getting files into your content area is simple - just drag them across from your "My Documents".
Link to multiple files Link to multiple files and even whole folders with a couple of clicks
Improved Grade Centre On Control Panel Quicker access See work that needs marking Filter view Shortcuts to favourite filters
Improved Grade Centre You can now add feedback files from Quick Comments
New menus to add content and activities The menus have changed In 9.1 they are “Build content”, “Create assessment” and “Add interactive tool” The “Create item” button has moved and is now under “Build Content”
New content types It is easier to add a variety of content types, for example YouTube videos and Flickr photos
Wiki and blog options 9.1 has Blackboard wiki and blog options Blackboard's vs "Learning Objects“ The different options offer slightly varying functionality e.g. Learning Objects blogs can provide an RSS and export function
This year improvements are being made to archiving and course rollover.
Students will be able to have access to archived versions of unit courses from their past year of study.
New unit courses contain content and staff but last years students are removed
