Alleluia and Verse
Profession of Faith (Nicene Creed) C I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of His Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made;
Profession of Faith (Nicene Creed) who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried. And the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. And He will come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead, whose kingdom will have no end.
Profession of Faith (Nicene Creed) And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. And I believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church, I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins, and I look for the resurrection of the dead and the life T of the world to come. Amen.
Prayer (“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances;” 1 Thess. 5:16-18) (Each petition ends with the words, “Lord, in Your mercy,” to which we respond, “Hear our Prayer.”) P Into Your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in Your mercy through Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. C Amen.
Sharing of the Peace PThe peace of the Lord be with you always. CAnd also with you. (Greet one another as the family of Christ with a word of peace)
Offering (“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7) Please do not feel obligated to participate in this time of sharing. The offering is provided for our members and others who have been led to support the Lord’s work through Mt. Calvary. Give cheerfully, as the Holy Spirit guides you. If you do not currently have a church home, we invite you to become a part of the Lord’s family at Mt. Calvary. Please fill out a Worship/Communion attendance card found in the pew and pass it to the center aisle. The ushers will collect them after taking the offerings to the altar.
Service of the Sacrament P The Lord be with you. C And with thy spirit. P Lift up your hearts. C We lift them up unto the Lord. P Let us give thanks unto the Lord our God. C It is meet and right so to do. P It is truly meet, right, and salutary that we should at all times and in all places give thanks to You, holy Lord, almighty Father, everlasting God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, who on this day overcame death and the grave and by His glorious resurrection opened to us the way of everlasting life. Therefore with angels and archangels and with all the company of heaven we laud and magnify Your glorious name, evermore praising You and singing:
Sanctus C Holy, holy, holy Lord God of Sabaoth adored; Heav'n and earth with full acclaim shout the glory of Your name. Sing hosanna in the highest, sing hosanna to the Lord; Truly blest is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
Lord's Prayer C Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
