Pet Zoom Pet Park - Pad For Pet - Presentation Transcript

190500Any pet lover would want to have his pet inside the house. However, bringing your pet inside your home would also mean bringing in pet poop and urine. To ensure that your pet is potty trained at the soonest time possible, you have to own a pad for pet.
Pet pads are necessary if your floors are carpeted and are hard to clean and maintain. Just the same, even if your floors are easy to clean, you wouldn’t want to step on pet poop or slip on pet urine, would you?

A training pad is made of an absorbent material to hold pet waste and urine. Some indoor pet pads are even made of a synthetic surface that is similar to grass. The thick surface is treated with some scent which, when sensed by your pet, will make him defecate or pee on it instead of some other place. The scent sends signal to your pet that will instruct it to pee or defecate in that location. This implies that your pet’s waste shall be confined only to the pad. Pet pads prevent pet accidents in your home when potty time can’t wait by giving your pet a designated place to urinate or defecate instead of on your carpet or furniture.
In order to maximize the use of these pet training pads, keep it in one particular spot of the house, usually in the kitchen or near the bathroom for easier and faster clean ups. Place the pad in your chosen spot and lead your pet to it. Every time it feels like excreting anything, it shall only do so in the pad and not anywhere else.
Do not forget to acknowledge your pet’s effort whenever it does its thing in the pet pad. Praise your pet verbally or by giving a gentle pat on its head or some treats. Remember that positive reinforcement is an effective method in pet training.
