    • Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling program enables the student to introduce christian counseling as a form of intervention to identify the family and/or individual needs to problem solving. It emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit as the counselor and redirects counseling approaches to be more effective and empower both the counselor and the counselee. It creates a way for the student to continue into christian psychology, pastorship, teaching and other relevant higher educational arenas.
