NFC - You've Come a Long Way (or not?) • Why did we move towards social networks anyway? – High user numbers on consumer side – Good reputation among companies – But, where is the business case? – NFC came a long way in terms of assumed infrastructure, but not as a technology – The social networks link is rather new • A solution to the „Chicken and Egg“ thing? – High user numbers are possible – High adoption rate can be tough (tipping point) – But, where is the business case then?
