EPortfolio Outreach work <ul><li>Some comments from workshop participants </li></ul><ul><ul><li>“ I think it’s difficult sometimes to look at yourself and say oh well just a minor thing like you know… listening to other people or just being friendly you don’t sort of think of that as a skill but when you see it in black and white on the screen you think oh gosh yes I can do that or that’s me so it did make me feel a bit a little bit better about myself…” </li></ul></ul>
    10. 10. EPortfolio Outreach work <ul><ul><li>Well I think actually my confidence is at an all time low at the moment……. I think it might help to build it I think it might take me a little while. </li></ul></ul>
    11. 11. EPortfolio Outreach work <ul><ul><li>I think it’s going to be very useful for me to re-jig my CV which has been a bit sort of static for a long time and it’s, it might have worked very well ten years ago but I think it needs updating…. </li></ul></ul>
    12. 12. EPortfolio Outreach work <ul><ul><li>And for me who hasn’t got a CV and wouldn’t even know where to start this is going to be really beneficial... You know what points to get across and how to lay it out … and also if we are going to be completing an application form online and things like that I think it’s going to be really helpful. Because I have completed a couple and I haven’t even got an interview so I must be doing something wrong… </li></ul></ul>

EPortfolio Outreach work <ul><li>What did we find out </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Technology is not a barrier ePortfolio has a role for ICT Training. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Bad technology is a barrier! </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Peer support is important in this situation </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Trainer/Mentor skills are a big part of the success or failure. </li></ul></ul>
