  • 3. When moist air risesquickly formcumulonimbus clouds.The air and water inthese clouds startrubbing against eachother. This builds upelectricity between theclouds and the ground,eventually resulting in aflash of lightning.

A thunderclap counts as a 1 mile (1.6kilometers) away.On average, we have thunderstorms ten days a year inDenmark.Certain regions in Africa experience thunderstorms180 days a year on average.Thunderstorms can cause chaos.Thunderstorms are very dangerous.There are about 1,800 thunderstorms that occuracross are plant everyday.
