  • reneeknake reneeknake Thank you for taking the time to look at my slides Richard and Carolyn. At ReInvent Law, the law laboratory I recently founded with my MSU Law colleague Daniel Martin Katz, we aren't just catching up. We will be inventing, building, and incubating new tools and methods for the delivery of legal services. Richard is right, however, that law schools are late to the game in teaching innovation and entrepreneurship to students, something we aim to change at MSU through our course offerings like Law Practice Innovation & Entrepreneurship and 21st Century Law Practice (two courses I teach) and Quantitative Methods for Lawyers and Legal Information Engineering (both taught by Katz). And Carolyn, my point is that these tools will lead to innovation, and that the legal academy has an obligation to incorporate them in the curriculum. 10 months ago

  • rgranat Richard Granat, CEO, SaaS Company/Virtual lawyer/Consultant at Granat Group/DirectLaw/Granat Legal Services Hi Carolyn- Its just the academy catching up with the real world of innovation. Its about time, but they are still 5 years behind what's actually going to happen. Law schools are always behind - even when they try. 10 months ago
