Renaissance Art Jewellery: Who Are We? The beauty and allure of silver jewellery is timeless! This, no doubt, holds true for jewellery designed and made as early as the end of the nineteenth century and as late as the 1920's. Those hundred-plus year-old designs have remained popular to this day. Keeping the tradition … perfectionism has always been a characteristic of the Dutch silversmith. Made in the Netherlands, Renaissance Art Jewellery combines traditional design and craftsmanship with modern production processes. These processes provide quality products at an affordable price. Their quality is as high as the original handmade pieces. Founded in 1974, the Company has been primarily promoting handcrafted silver jewellery in Europe and North America. It has developed an extensive market niche of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. In 1984, the Nederland-based affiliate acquired Royal Van Kempen & Begeer, a business rich in tradition and well known manufacturer of handmade silver jewellery since 1825. By so doing, the Company acquired the skills of fifty highly-trained silversmiths and over 30,000 jewellery models. Our workforce and collection have been growing ever since. Renaissance Art Jewellery has constantly increased its sales to meet the ever growing demand for affordable antique-like jewellery. The Company expects to maintain this pace of growth in the future, and affirms its commitment to continuously modernize production processes and increase corporate visibility by participating in major tradeshows. Renaissance Art Jewellery pieces are manufactured from sterling silver in the traditional Dutch manner. In particular, great pride is derived from our Swarovski Crystal collections, inspired by the Art Nouveau-Jugendstil movement of 1890-1920. Specializing in Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Victorian designs, Renaissance offers over 4,000 jewellery pieces and gift items. These collections include: brooches, pendants, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings, spoons, thimbles, and picture frames. Using internal resources, short of casting, all work is done by hand to high standards of quality. The attention to tradition and quality has resulted in a wide interest in our product lines and an impressive clientele, including members of the Dutch royal family, as well as famous museums, high end jewelers, galleries and antique dealers across the globe.
