    I called 2 phone numbers and all that they are is refinancing advertisements. I dont get this at all. The Bulimia/Amorexia Hotline and the Youth Crisis Line.

  2. Percentage of Men and Women Aged 12-35 With Eating Disorders
    • Often called Binge-eating disorder
    • episodes of compulsive overeating
    • often eat alone and very quickly , whether they feel hungry or full.
    • Feelings of shame or guilt often occur
    • to be diagnosed, episodes must occur at least 2 times a week on average, for over 6 months ,
    • patient must lack control over their eating habits
    • to get help, those with the disorder are sent to counselling, nutritionists , and rarely, institutionalized at eating disorder facilities

    • Anorexia nervosa - avoid food and meals, weigh their food , count calories
    • have extremely excessive exercising habits
    • Bulimia nervosa - eat excessive amounts of food in a single episode
    • make themselves vomit or use laxatives (binge/purge cycle)
    • Like anorexia, have an intense fear of gaining weight.
    • to be diagnosed, must weight at least 15% lower than the average weight for their age/height
    • have irregular menstrual cycles (female)
    • have at least 2 binge/purge cycles a week
    • obsessed with body shape and image
    • almost always require hospitalization , followed by immense counselling and frequent visits to nutritionists and doctors.
