  • 2. One of the main features of Irish cuisine is thequality of their products: butter, fish, meats,potatoes and legumes are the star products.
  • 3. The main ingredient is the potato. A representativedish (Colcannon) is made with potatoes, garlic andcabbage. A very important dish is Champ. It issmashed potatoes served with chopped onions. Colcannon Champ
  • 4. The most popular fish are salmon and cod. In the fieldof shellfish prawns and oysters are becomingincreasingly popular (sometimes served with a glass ofbeer) especially in the coastal towns. Salmon Cod Prawns
  • 5. It is the most popular Irish dink. Take a cup and addtwo tablespoons of sugar and four of whisky. Whilethese ingredients are mixed, add some cream.

If you go to anyrestaurant and order a breakfast, they will serve you an Irishbreakfast. It is a dish plenty of sausages, eggs, tomatoes, blackpudding and white pudding, beans, Irish bacon and cheese.
