  • Who knows this logo?
  • Formed in 1976Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were friends in High School – were both interested in electronics. Nerds! Both dropped out of University.Woz got a job at HP and Jobs one at Atari.First product was Apple 1 – built in their garage.Built it first, then figured out that they should try to sell it. Sold very few.First fully integrated unit – reduced type of computer from “Mainframe” to “Personal”
  • How about this logo?Nike is the “winged goddess of victory according to Greek mythology. She sat at the side of Zeus, the ruler of the Olympic pantheon in Olympus. It symbolizes “victorious encounters.”A Greek would say, “when we go to battle and win, we say it is Nike.”The swoosh is a graphical design which represents the wing of the Greek Goddess.Do you know how Nike began?
  • The design of the Swoosh cost Phil Knight $35.Began as a small distributing outfit located in the trunk of Phil Knight’s car.The company started from two sources:Bill Bowerman’s quest for lighter, more durable racing shoes for his Oregon Ducks runners and for Knight to make a living without giving up his love for athletics. It began in 1963 (9 years before official launch) where Phil Knight flew to Japan to “represent” a U.S. distributor (Blue Ribbon Sports) for the Japanese shoe maker. Before Nike was officially born, the company had 1 employee (salesman) and grossed $1 million.Nike didn’t start the fitness wave, but was right there when it started to boom.
  • Have you seen this logo? What does a balloon have to do with real estate?Formed by Dave and Gail Liniger.Combined two concepts into one.Opened 8 company offices in Denver.Expanded to Canada in 1977.RE/MAX Mexico opened in 1992.
  • Steve Jobs would think and do differently than everyone else.Closed system – unlike Android based systems. Actually do the thinking for you.Philosophy is to provide products you don’t even know that you need.
  • FOCUS: Prioritize only most important. Consumer and Pro and Desktop and Portable. Build only 4 products, one for each grid. Limited product line.SIMPLIFY: Conquer complexity. The Apple mouse has no buttons versus Window’s mouse has 2-3 buttons. No off/on button – multi-function button. iPhone and iPad.TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FROM END TO END: Integrated hardware, software and devices as single unit or thought. iMac.WHEN BEHIND, JUMP AHEAD: Create solutions to problems we didn’t know we had. iPod = iTunes and iTunes store.PUT PRODUCTS BEFORE PROFITS: Very few products have failed unlike at Microsoft and Sony.BEND REALITY: Cut the boot-up time. Windows takes forever. “If it would save a person’s life, could you find a way to shave 10 seconds of the boot time?” Ended up saving 28 seconds.PUSH FOR PERFECTION: Products must work – simply.
  • Top 5 most famous slogans of all time.Memorable and action oriented.
  • Above the Crowd. The Real Estate Leaders.Out in Front.
  • Real estate is an incredible industry.A home is usually the single, most important investment someone or a family will every make in their lifetime. It deserves the right care, attention and customer service possible.RE/MAX provides the vehicle to be “In business for yourself, not by yourself.”We provide the systems, tools and benefits to make it easier to be successful and without re-inventing the wheel. You provide the dream, desire and your work ethic.
