Slide 2: What is a Monomial? A monomial is an The constant is   algebraic called the expression that is coefficient either a constant, a variable, or a product of a constant and one or more variables.

Slide 3: Examples of Monomials Examples:  (5t)(-30t2)=  (5t)(-30t2)=  5.(-30) t. t2 =  -150t3 

Slide 4: How Do you Multiply it??? Multiply the Multiply the coefficients coefficients and add the exponents (6x2) (4x2y3)= 24x4 y3
