  • 1. MAGNIFICENCESETTING:>The story happened at the houseof the two children.CHARACTERS:>Vicente – the bus conductor>Mother>Oscar (little boy)>Little Girl
  • 2. MAGNIFICENCEPLOT – INTRODUCTION:>The story started with a man namedVicente coming to the house of thetwo children to tutor them with theirclassworks. The family absolutely trusthim for they think that this man wasalways so gentle, so kind, and therewas nothing to fear with when he isaround.
  • 3. MAGNIFICENCECOMPLICATION:>When Vicente came earlier usual inthat evening. The children immediatelyput their lesson down, telling him ofthe envy of their schoolmates andwould buy them more pencils. ThenVicente asked Oscar, the youngbrother to get him some glass ofwater.
  • 4. MAGNIFICENCECLIMAX:>Vicente held the little girl by the armthen let the girl take her full trust andwhen he took the little girl up lightly inhis arms and holding her underarmpits then held her to sit down onhis lap. Then the girl keep squirmingand for somehow she feltuncomfortable to be held and looked
  • 5. MAGNIFICENCEAround at Vicente interupting hercareful writing to twist around. ThenVicente’s face was wet with sweat andhis eyes look strange.
  • 6. MAGNIFICENCECONSEQUENCE:>The girl jumped away from Vicente’slap then the mother came down stairsholding in her hand the “merienda” forthem. She talked to Vicente & slappedhim then throws him out of the house.
  • 7. MAGNIFICENCEDENOUMENT:>When the mother bathed the little girland she throws the clothes at thegarbage bin & on the next day burnedit with the pencil on it.
  • 8. MAGNIFICENCETHEME:>How a mother will turn to a woman tofight for a mother’s rights in terms ofabuses. It shows the empwerment ofwoman.
  • 9. MAGNIFICENCEPOINT OF VIEW:>Omniscient point of view, becausethe author sees all, knows all & tellsall what is the story supposed to be.
  • 10. MAGNIFICENCELESSON:>We must not be an apathetic personthat we must be aware of what really astranger could to us! * TRUST IS NOT INHERITED, BUT IT IS GAINED!
