Soon, there will a Bridge Named Chuck Norris in Slovakia Okay, let’s take a break from the serious stuff and once for a while I will something light andeasy. Those individuals affected by the hip recall, such the likes of asr recall and the zimmer hip recallwill be handled well by their respective depuy hip recall lawyer. The article I’ve just read days ago certainly caught my attention and I just can’t help it to reblog.Yes, soon, once the voting had ended, there will be a bridge somewhere in Slovakia named Chuck Norris. To be honest I don’t know how to react. I find the news weird and humorous at the same time. The nextquestion raised on my mind was why the heck Slovakia is eager to name one of their bridges to theactor? Why not, United States first, as Norris is an American, Wikipedia even noted that he was once atough US Air Force man. Because of my peaked interest of Norris I started to harness the power of Internet. ThanksGoogle for making my somewhat smart LOL. Just right after typing the “Chuck Norris” words in thesearch bar a lot of websites popped out. There had been jokes and I have to admit that some of themare not nice. This one particularly caught my attention:Google wont search for Chuck Norris because it knows you dont findChuck Norris, he finds you.Yoursearch - Chuck Norris - did not match any documents.Suggestions: Run, before he finds you. Try a different person. Try someone less dangerous. I am not a techie person and I really don’t get it why internet giant Google made a joke like this.Okay, I’ve got a mistake here, in the lower portion of the page there is a script stating that the page isjust a spoof made by a certain Arran Schlosberg. Anyways, back to the bridge talk, actually aside from the Chuck Norris, there are other namealternatives; “Maria Theresa” which is the name of the former Austro-Hungarian empress and “DevinskaCycling Bridge” in honor of the nearest city where the bridge lies.
But against all odds, “Chuck Norris” had been receiving a lot of support from fellow Slovaks. Butother residents hinted that they want another name too such as “Missing in Action” or “Delta Force”. Voting will end in April 2012. Though it seems the power of the people reign supreme, still it isthe regional assembly’s final say. But Pavol Freso, the regional director had told the Guardian that thevoice of the people will be followed.
