DAVID GAUNTLETT Web 2.0 has created a more democratic media. We are all inherently creative, “making is connecting.” The dominance of media institutions is being challenged. We live in the age of the prosumer. Removal of gatekeepers will open up the media to greater democracy and foster creativity that otherwise would not have been accesible.
