  • 7. METHODS•Get a HEART• Seek the Lord for His heart• Matthew 5 Concept• 1 John 3:17 – “But if anyone has the world’sgoods and sees his brother in need, yet closeshis heart against him, how does God’s loveabide in him?”
  • 8. METHODS•ENGAGE• Definition: “To occupy the attention orefforts of; to attract and hold fast”• James 1:27 – “Religion that is pure andundefiled before God, the Father, is this: tovisit orphans and widows in theiraffliction, and to keep oneself unstained fromthe world.”
  • 9. METHODS•LEVEL• Any Level matters• Find your own level and go & engage.• Soup Kitchen, Pantry, Making yoursandwiches & toiletry bags, other agencies.• “If you can’t feed 100 people, then feedone.” – Mother Teresa
  • 10. BIBLICAL MANDATE• “Who is MY neighbor?”• Luke 10:29-37• “YOU GO, AND DO LIKEWISE.”
