    3. Question 1. What gives you most joy and satisfaction in your work? Joy and satisfaction lead to better health and well-being in the workplace. They lead to higher morale, increased productivity and savings, through reduced sickness absence.
    4. Question 2. How do we create workplaces where we feel valued, respected and where we can do our best work? One answer is make time to reflect on your general feelings of well-being and your relationships with others. Also how far your work is meaningful and has a purpose.
    5. Question 3. What does reflection mean? Part of this means looking backwards to appreciate what you have achieved and the things you might have succeeded in changing. This should give you a sense of where you have come from. The other part involves looking forward and towards achieving your future goals. There are limits to reflecting alone. It’s better done with others.
    6. Question 4. What is appreciative reflection? This is a special and important kind of reflection. It involves identifying, understanding and amplifying (a) your own gifts and talents and those of others (b) the way you positively value and respect yourself and others (c) ways to improve your work and workplace. It is about focusing on success and achievement, not just on problems and failures.
    7. Question 5. What workplace conditions are needed for appreciative reflection? (a) Space to come together to discuss what you want more of (success & well- being) not less of (problems & failure) (b) An opportunity to authentically participate in decisions about your well-being, your work and workplace (c) Positivity, a strength and sense of belief that you can improve your working life (d) Courage to act ethically and do the right thing
