Seriously? NOBODY AT HOME AT REDDIT? How very frustrating!

  • RaymondDuke Raymond Duke, Copywriter at Freelance When using targeted subreddits, is it possible to choose more than one? I've tried a comma and a space, but no luck. I can't start my ad in the subreddit I want because the impressions are too low. Since I need $5 to start, I am unable to reach the number of impressions necessary in just one subreddit.

    How to fix this problem?

I DO see an ad in the subreddit I want to advertise in, so I know it's possible.

This deck is blank to me. Only the first slide shows.

Edit: my popup blocker was preventing the slideshow from showing. That's the first time that's happened.

  • SamJudie Sam Judie, Website Designer/Builder at Home How do I cancel my Reddit Ad? Why do you make this sooooo difficult? Shame on You! Your advertising would be much more valuable if our Ads only showed up during Search Results at Reddit! Like for me? If my Ad only showed up during Search Results for 'HOA' - Google Ads? • Ryan6789 Ryan McGarry at Central Garden & Pet Just when Reddit ads started paying off for me they had to pull something like this. It was bound to happen at some point, every one sells out eventually. With an increase like this I don't see how anyone in their right mind would pay for advertising on here versus Google, FB, or Bing...or any other medium for that matter. 6 months ago

  • jeremykalgreen Jeremy Kalgreen Yeah, I gave this the benefit of the doubt, but after trying a few campaigns it seems like this would be a total disaster for me to continue. Oh well, just sucks to lose a formerly good advertising venue! 6 months ago

  • WillJang1 Will Jang I'm disappointed as well. I got a CPM of .12 cents before, and now that has jumped up 700 percent. I'll run an ad in the new system to see if the cpc is comparable, but at this CPM rate, it doesn't make sense to choose Reddit over Google or Facebook. 6 months ago

  • crowfeather John Doe, CEO at Eonwing LLC I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, but I am not hopeful that I am going to be happy with the results of the current campaign I have scheduled. 7 months ago

  • jeremykalgreen Jeremy Kalgreen The good: at least it might be possible to advertise on the smaller subreddits profitably (those little 2-3k ones would never be worth a minimum of $30 a day).

The bad: I've only ever had one campaign cost me more than $.75 per M impressions. Most of the ad buys I've had that I'd consider successful had a cmp of around $.09 - $.16.

So all in all this sounds like it might not work out for me going forward, but I'm willing to give it a try, and maybe I should change my strategy to finding smaller more focused sub-reddits.
