  • 2. Holland Code
    • After taking the Holland code test my results were EIS
    • E= Enterprising- people are good talkers, and use this skill to lead or persuade others.  They also value reputation, power, money and status, and will usually go after it.
    • I= Investigative- people like to think and observe rather than act, to organize and understand information rather than to persuade.  They tend to prefer individual rather than people oriented activities. 
    • S= Social- people seem to satisfy their needs in teaching or helping situations.  They are different than R and I Types because they are drawn more to seek close relationships with other people and are less apt to want to be really intellectual or physical.
  • 3. Birkman
    • My color results were red, red after taking the birkman test
    • People with red Interests like hands-on / problem solving job responsibilities and professions that involve practical, technical, and objective activities.
  • 4. Career Path
    • My Career path is in the field of law enforcement preferable Detective/ private investigator
    • This job interest me the most out of all the jobs I researched
    • Each test I took also led me to this job from childhood games to the birkman test to the Holland code
    • Also get paid a good salary after out of the academy
  • 5. Important Skills
    • Working in Teams- is the number one skill for this job because for each case you work with different people and different organizations to share evidence
    • Critical thinking- you have to be able to think outside the box and use what you have to make a conclusion
    • Problem solving- sometimes you don’t have a lot of evidence and you have to make with what you got and put pieces together
    • Use of technology- With the evidence you get you have to use all types of technology to find out information about it and do research on it
    • Multi tasking- This would help you because your not just working on one case at a time you can be working on multiple ones and they can take a lot of time for each case

    • Conduct private investigations on a paid basis
    • Obtain and analyze information on suspects, crimes, and disturbances in order to solve cases, to identify criminal activity
    • Search computer databases, credit reports, public records, tax and legal filings

    • Increase of 22 percent
  • 8. Salary
    • Beginning- in the academy you make 23,500 bump up 10,000 after your done
    • Middle- 41,760 is the middle pay after your first couple of years
    • High-76,640 is after 10 years on the job

    • 13 paid holidays.
    • Paid family dental, optical and medical plans
    • 15 paid vacation days first year of service, increasing to twenty-seven 27 days after five 5 years of service
  • 10. Description
    • Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school
    • No need for college just need training at an academy
    • The more education the more knowledge you have
    • Minimum age for the written test is 19
