Holland Code <ul><li>After taking the Holland code test my results were EIS </li></ul><ul><li>E= Enterprising- people are good talkers, and use this skill to lead or persuade others.  They also value reputation, power, money and status, and will usually go after it. </li></ul><ul><li>I= Investigative- people like to think and observe rather than act, to organize and understand information rather than to persuade.  They tend to prefer individual rather than people oriented activities.  </li></ul><ul><li>S= Social- people seem to satisfy their needs in teaching or helping situations.  They are different than R and I Types because they are drawn more to seek close relationships with other people and are less apt to want to be really intellectual or physical. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Birkman <ul><li>My color results were red, red after taking the birkman test </li></ul><ul><li>People with red Interests like hands-on / problem solving job responsibilities and professions that involve practical, technical, and objective activities. </li></ul>

Career Path <ul><li>My Career path is in the field of law enforcement preferable Detective/ private investigator </li></ul><ul><li>This job interest me the most out of all the jobs I researched </li></ul><ul><li>Each test I took also led me to this job from childhood games to the birkman test to the Holland code </li></ul><ul><li>Also get paid a good salary after out of the academy </li></ul>

Important Skills <ul><li>Working in Teams- is the number one skill for this job because for each case you work with different people and different organizations to share evidence </li></ul><ul><li>Critical thinking- you have to be able to think outside the box and use what you have to make a conclusion </li></ul><ul><li>Problem solving- sometimes you don’t have a lot of evidence and you have to make with what you got and put pieces together </li></ul><ul><li>Use of technology- With the evidence you get you have to use all types of technology to find out information about it and do research on it </li></ul><ul><li>Multi tasking- This would help you because your not just working on one case at a time you can be working on multiple ones and they can take a lot of time for each case </li></ul>

Job Summary <ul><li>Conduct private investigations on a paid basis </li></ul><ul><li>Obtain and analyze information on suspects, crimes, and disturbances in order to solve cases, to identify criminal activity </li></ul><ul><li>Search computer databases, credit reports, public records, tax and legal filings </li></ul>

  8. 8. Salary <ul><li>Beginning- in the academy you make 23,500 bump up 10,000 after your done </li></ul><ul><li>Middle- 41,760 is the middle pay after your first couple of years </li></ul><ul><li>High-76,640 is after 10 years on the job </li></ul>

Description <ul><li>Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school </li></ul><ul><li>No need for college just need training at an academy </li></ul><ul><li>The more education the more knowledge you have </li></ul><ul><li>Minimum age for the written test is 19 </li></ul>
