My double page spread development

  1. 1. My double page spread development
  2. 2. 1st DraftI thought about using a photo on justone page and having the other pagelook something like this, I thought thiswould be simple but I didn’t think thatit would be bold enough.
  3. 3. 2nd DraftI then thought about writing the text over thebackground of the image but then realise itwould not be clear and easy to read.
  4. 4. 3rd DraftI liked the idea of the pull out quote, and so played around with headingscolours and titles.
  5. 5. 4th DraftI added the opaque box and thought that inwhole it would be better white and withpure boxes of colour
  6. 6. 5th DraftI added coloured boxes and wrote myarticle carrying on the theme of thelines from my content pages. Alsothough the tour date added an extradevice to lure an audience in to themagazine.
  7. 7. 6th draftMy intended audience cross section said that theblock of colour didn’t make the magazine lookclassy so I took 2 away and moved my pull outquote. I also changed the masthead as I looked atother magazine with my genre and not many havethe artists name this is usually in the sub line of thearticle. as well as this I added a drop letter.
  8. 8. FINALI added effects like the emboss tool likeon my contents page and front cover todefine feature such as the artists nameand the masthead and the pull out quote.I formatted the text and finalised thedetails.
