Purcell Marian Blended LearningGeneral Academics• The fundamental purpose of school is to ensure high levels of learning for all students. How do we create a school that helps more kids learn at higher levels?
Purcell Marian Blended LearningIt is all about student learning: What do students need to learn? How do we know the students have learned it? What do we do if they haven’t learned it or if they already know it?
Purcell Marian Blended Learning Although we make large gains in student learning, it is not enough. At the same time, there is no more time in the day to do more of what we are currently doing, so we need to do what we are currently doing more efficiently.
Definition:Blended learning personalizes eachstudent’s educational experience by enhancing traditional teaching methods with technology.

Purcell Marian Blended Learning Allows students to progress at their own rate. Informs teachers, through data compiled, of the student’s strengths and weaknesses. Strengths and weaknesses can then be addressed by the teacher who is now enabled to provide truly individualized education to the student.
