    4. Learner-centred, learner owned Institutionally owned With a space for personal and a space for more formal work.
    5. Why? • Everyone is using the same tool – Easier for staff to support students. – Students can support each other. – Easier to provide central support. • Students get an entitlement to a level of service. • Blah, blah, blah I could give a huge lists of benefits to everyone involved.
    6. But… • We (or at least I) could pontificate for hours on the theory and the idea. • An example is what we really need.

    10. Summary • An institutional e-portfolio benefits everyone; leaner, staff, institutions. • Flexibility is important but if we all start doing our own thing we are DOOMED.
