Implementation of the National Energy Efficiency Action Plans This project is funded by the European UnionArab EE Guideline (I)• Purpose : Guiding Targets, Instruments, Framework• Scope : Provider of Energy, EE Services, Distributors• General Targets:  Target of Energy saving by 2020, Indicative Target, Cost/Effective Measures  Develop NEEAPs and take Measures to reach the target  To be developed for the period of 3 years, yearly review and assessment• Leading Role of the Public Sector• Promote EE and Energy Services (e.g. Energy Provider, ESCOs)• Distributors to provide services on Energy Management and Audits www.med-enec.com 5
