    • Lambert 1(Robert) Curtis LambertEnglish 101Professor Bolton02 August 2012 Annotated Bibliography Self Evaluation The annotated bibliography, the precursor to our upcoming research paper, was the thirdessay installment I wrote for my composition class; English 101. The challenge with this essay isthat it is not really an essay at all, but a compilation of information for my research paper, formatted in a way that concisely summarizes what each works cited source is all about, and howit will add to my research component, as well as supporting my counterargument. This type ofpaper, written with annotation on all copies of my 5 sources, as well as my reference point (Ichose to use my text analysis essay for my “jumping off” point) will lay all the ground work formy research paper, the final essay of the semester. My goal with this paper was was to garner and gleen information from sources that wereapplicable within the topic (media piracy) of my research without being too complicated andlegal. That goal was achieved, I feel, within reason. It is difficult to make legal jargonunderstandable, even Judges struggle to make rulings due to the language, so my hope is that thebibliography is readable and understandable as a reference point for my research paper; there, Iwill have more words to explain my subject matter. I feel I accomplished what I set out to do,and I am happy with the final copy and had little revising to do following grading.
