Vervanging en wijziging
In BI 7.0 is er vanwege de integratie met de Portal en functionaliteit van BI-Java
geen plaats meer voor:
BEx Browser: Deze functionaliteit wordt in zijn geheel overgenomen door
de Portal.
BEx Download Scheduler : Om gelijksoortige functionaliteit te
bewerkstelligen kan de Information Broadcaster en de Knowledge
Management-services gebruiken.
Reporting Agent: Adobe Document Services, Information Broadcaster, de
Portal en het Central Alert Framework nemen de functies van de Reporting
Agent over.
Ad-hoc Query Designer: De Web Analyzer is de vervanger van de Ad-hoc
Query Designer, maar is (nog) geen volledige web-based vervanger van de
Quer Designer.

NW 2004s has more features for updates that does not follow the typical
asynchronomous (batch) updates. This include:
1. We can use XML to fill the PSA directly (XI-interface)
2. Daemon-based update from delta queue (BW API)
3. Daemon-based update of the ODS and minimal logging
