It is said that with all theantibiotic use (or misuse) we are destroying bacteria bad and good.In addition, supporters of good bacteria and kefir have stated to see benefits inthe following areas when ingesting them steadily: liver cleansing, endocrinesystem cleansing, increased energy, calming benefits, fighting of food cravings, body nourishing and balancing, assistance with ADHD, combating sleepdisorders, reduced depression, plus antifungal properties. Kefir is also regardedas a natural antibiotic against the "bad" bacteria. Numerous health leaders areeven introducing kefir into the medicinal steps towards autistic behavior!I figured that when making coconut water kefir, one would simply use waterfrom coconuts rather than mineral, spring, or raw water in whatever kefirconcoctions, although that way definitely should work, the usual preparationprocedure for preparing this nutritious bacteria drink is a bit different.Making coconut kefir water requires, obviously, several coconuts (usuallyroughly eight to ten to make a gallon), as well as some kefir starter. The approach is actually hassle-free... open your coconuts and then pour thecontents into a gallon-sized jar, put the jar in a pot of water then warm it upuntil the water reaches a temp slightly below 100°F (which is general bodytemperature therefore you are likely to not feel the water... which indicatesits at the correct warmth). Pull off from the stove and pour in a packet ofstarter, cover and let stand for 12-48 hours.Taste the kefir water every six to twelve hours... you will be looking for a tartor tangy flavour, definitely not a very sweet taste. The kefir water is going toseem a bit opaque and no longer clear like when you began.Suggestion: Its recommended to avoid coconut water that has a tint of pinkishto it since it is understood to be rancid. If its too challenging to tell, thenormally white portion of the rancid coconut will be a grayish color rather thanCoconut Kefir Recipe Copyright © 2011

I actuallydiscard it to be on the safe side, but its up to you!Like with any other dietary change, please check with your doctor before making any drasticchanges to your diet.
