New models (1) <ul><li>In 72% of cases, search engines are the primary way to access information. </li></ul><ul><li>In 67% of cases, references to resources are provided from friends (social networks). </li></ul><ul><li>Only 2% use the university library. </li></ul><ul><li>About 53% believe that the reliability of search engines is equivalent to that of the library. </li></ul><ul><li>55% of teens use social networking sites. </li></ul><ul><li>55% have a personal profile on a web site. </li></ul><ul><li>49% use social networking sites to make new friends. </li></ul><ul><li>57% of teens create content (blogs, photos, etc). </li></ul><ul><li>(Oblinger D.g., Oblinger j.L., 2007, Educause) </li></ul>
