INTRODUCTION <ul><li>Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into an environment that causes harm to human health, other living organisms & the environment. </li></ul><ul><li>Undesirable state of the natural environment being contaminated with harmful substances as a consequence of human activities. </li></ul>

SOURCES AND EFFECTS OF POLLUTIONS SOURCES : <ul><li>Motor vehicle . </li></ul><ul><li>Chemical plants and refinery. </li></ul><ul><li>Sometimes natural disaster </li></ul>EFFECTS : <ul><li>Adverse air quality can kill many organism including humans. </li></ul><ul><li>Ozone depletion. </li></ul><ul><li>Sulfur dioxide and oxides of nitrogen can cause acid rain. </li></ul><ul><li>Water pollution causes about 14000 deaths/day due to contamination of </li></ul><ul><li>drinking water. </li></ul>
