  3. 3. Samuel Morse Samuel Morse didn‟t invent the telegraph, but he was the man who used it in the right way. In 1844 he did the first electric telegraph path between Washington and Baltimore. Also he created the Morse code.
  4. 4. Alexander Graham Bell
  5. 5.  In 1876, Graham Bell invented the first telephone, which is the start for the communications technology. This phone which is shown in the picture he used to call his friend Watson, „Watson, can you hear me? Come please.‟ And the invention had been a success.
  6. 6. The revolutionMartin Copper, American engineer 3 April 1973 ( head manager for Motorola company). He made the second age of telephones.
  7. 7. GSM At the end of the 1980s a common standard for digital mobile telephony was developed by Nokia (Finland company). This standard is known as GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) In 1991 Nokia produced the first phone to use GSM, Nokia 1011.
  8. 8. Smart phones Research In Motion In 1999 a cell phone made the second revolution in the communications field. The device was produced for the businessmen and people who work in big companies. But every thing changed. The number of users was 77 million until now.
