    • Moved to Zilina in 1936
    • German invasion in September 1939 prevented them from leaving Great Britain
  • 3. Kielce Ghetto
    • On march 31, 1941 the Kielce ghetto was established
    • He moved to the Kielce ghetto
    • 27,000 Jews lived in this ghetto
    • The Kielce ghetto was liquidated in August 1942

    • He was deported to Auschwitz in August 1944
    • Auschwitz children were often killed upon arrival

  • 7. Thomas as a boy
    • Was later after Auschwitz was sent to a Sachsenhausen camp in Germany
    • But not short after he was put into a orphanage on April 1945
  • 8. After the war
    • After some searching for some time he was reunited with his mother in Gorettingen
    • And in 1951 moved to the U.S.
