  2. 2. Why Group Discussion?<br />A group discussion helps a candidate to create a good impression about himself on the testing authorities and on the other group members.<br />This impression is very important as far as recruitment or selection is concerned.<br />

  4. 4. Power of Expression<br />The idea must be expressed clearly, fluently and logically.<br />
  5. 5. Knowledge<br />The range of ideas and depth of knowledge / thoughts go a long way in favouring candidate.<br />
  6. 6. Social adaptability<br />Co-operative attitude, readiness to accept mistakes, ability to accept mistakes, ability to accept criticism with grace and consideration for the thought of others are the qualities which will be tested through G.D<br />
  7. 7. Flexibility<br />A selfless attitude and receptive nature to ideas of others.<br />
  8. 8. Liveliness<br />Cheerful nature, interest, urge and keenness in participation.<br />
  9. 9. Confidence and Courage<br />Self-confidence, courage to present one’s ideas, determination and faith in one’s performance.<br />
  10. 10. Participation<br />The candidate’s involvement in the discussion as to the extent and frequency of one’s talking.<br />
  11. 11. Influence over others<br />The ability to influence other with one’s talking.<br />
