  • 2. Ubuntu Installation ● Systm Requirements ● Boot From live CD ● Login Into Live Session ● Create A Partition ● Start Installer ● Select Parameters ● Install Ubuntu ● Reboot Computer ● Start Ubuntu
  • 3. System Requirements ● Modern Processor – Intel Pentium 4 or higher [dual core,core2duo,i3] – AMD Sempron,Athlon,Turion ● 512 MB Ram – 1GB Recommended ● 20 GB Free Space of Harddisk ● CD/ DVD Drive or – USB Drive – Converted to Bootable Ubuntu ● Monitor – UPS -Keyboard – Mouse etc ...
  • 4. Ubuntu Boot Screen
  • 5. Login into Live Session
  • 6. Start GParted
  • 7. Select a Windows Partition
  • 8. Resize - Partition
  • 9. Click and Drag to resize
  • 10. Resized and created Free Space
  • 11. Apply operations
  • 12. Partition Created Successfully
  • 13. Install Ubuntu
  • 14. Select Time Zone
  • 15. Select Keyboard Layout
  • 16. Prepare disk space
  • 17. Create Partitions
  • 18. Create Partition
  • 19. Partitions ● / - root partition – min: 10GB ● /boot – Bootable files – 150 MB ● Swap – Memmory Partition [Double of Ram]1GB ● /home – Your Files – [as you like] [6-30 GB]
