  2. 2. Selecting a prim.<br />Click on the Create icon that is selected in green above.<br />Choose the Cylinder and click on an empty piece of land.<br />

  4. 4. Editing the texture.<br />Click on the Texture tab, and click on the texture window.<br />Click on libraries, then textures to open that list.<br />Click on Misc textures, select Gray Metal Scratched and click OK.<br />
  5. 5. Adjusting the object<br />Click on the Object tab.<br />Type in the values for Size shown.<br />
  6. 6. Note: the Cylinder should look like the picture above.<br />

  20. 20. Place Fan Center 2 in the center above Fan Center.<br />
  21. 21. Creating the fan.<br />Click on the Fan piece and then hold down the Shift button.<br />Drag the mouse over to make a copy of the Fan.<br />Repeat step three times.<br />
  22. 22. Take one of the Fan pieces and place it to the left of Fan Center 2.<br />
  23. 23. Click on another Fan piece and change the Rotation to the values above.Place the Fan piece to the right of Fan Center 2 so that it looks like the picture above.<br />
  24. 24. Click on another Fan piece and change the Rotation to the values above.Place the Fan piece on the top side of Fan Center 2 so that it looks like the picture above.<br />
  25. 25. Click on another Fan piece and change the Rotation to the values above.Place the Fan piece on the bottom side of Fan Center 2 so that it looks like the picture above.<br />
  26. 26. Hold the Shift button down and click on Fan center 2 and each of the Fan pieces.Let go of the Shift button and click on the link button.Note: Fan Center 2 and its fan blades should now be linked.<br />
  27. 27. Click on the Content tab.Click on New Script.<br />
  28. 28. Type in the Spin Script show above.Tip: this script can also be found in our Scripting in SL section of the webpage<br />
  29. 29. Click the Running box so that there is a check.Click on the Mono box so that there is a check.Click Save and close the Script window.<br />
  30. 30. Hold down the Shift button and click on the Fan center and the Fan center 2 above it. The Fan center and Fan center 2 should now be linked together and look like the picture above.<br />
