  • 3. Where is Nepal? It is amazing to find that many people in the world have no clue where Nepal is. They even do not know where Mt. Everest or the birthplace of Buddha is. Nepal is a very small country sandwiched between two giant countries namely China and India. Due to geographical location of Nepal, it remains one of the poorest countries in the world. However, it may be poor in economy but very rich in natural resources and natural beauties. Thousands of people visit Nepal for trekking, rafting, cultural tour, paragliding, bungee jump, sky diving, zip line, jungle safari and many other adventure sports. Only daring tourists take such route to adventure in Nepal.

Thousands of trekkers from all around the world come to Nepal for trekking expedition. The most famous expedition is Mt. Everest expedition. Medium level trekking in Nepal for example Ganesh Himal Trekking, Langtang Trekking, Manaslu trekking, and Poon Hill trekking are world famous trekking. Where is Everest? Mt. Everest is the highest mountain in the world. It is 8848 meter high located in Nepal in the border with Tibet. Hundreds of professional mountaineers come to Nepal to summit Everest. This is one in a lifetime opportunity and the adventure mountaineers spend thousands of dollars to achieve their goal. The first summiteers of Everest were Sir Edmond Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa back in May 29, 1953. What is the cost of climbing Everest? Climbing Everest is expensive. It is expensive because this is how Nepal is earning money from its tourism sector. It costs around $35k to 65$ for climbing Everest. The more high you go the more you have to pay.
