  • 1. The name of Venus comes from the goddess of love.For a long time the people thought that in Venus it waspossible to live, but it is not like that, it is too hot (more than450ºC in the surface).
  • 2.  Venus is the second planet from the sun of our solar system, after Mercury. Venus is the nearest planet to the Earth.
  • 3.  There are no rivers and oceans. The colour of the sky is orange and always cloudy.
  • 4.  The orbit of Venus is between the sun and the Earth.
  • 5. The satellite takes photos from the space, then we cansee how is the planet.The landscape of Venus it is a volcanic zone.
  • 6.  Venus has got different stages like the Moon. When Venus is near the Earth, we can’t see Venus. But when Venus is farther we can see it.
  • 7.  The light of the sun bounces on the clouds of Venus. This is the reason that Venus looks like a star at the sunrise and sunset.
