Winisis Installation

Install Winisis Double click the icon to install Winisis

Click on Continue button to install Winisis

Installation Completed

Database Creation Create a database with following fields 10 Author 20 Title 30 Keywords 40 Fulltext

Create a database with following fields

Add a line in the Print Format as follows

Unzipped files Download Genisis from www.scribnet.org Unzip the Zipped files Double click on the setup.exe

Install GenisisWeb

Copy two GenisisWeb files to Apache - A Pre-requisite Before you start the GenisisWeb for the first time, copy the following files. Copy the " wwwisis " folder in GenisisWeb to " htdocs " folder in " Apache ". Copy the contents (all files) in the " bireme " folder in " GenisisWeb " to the " cgi-bin " folder in " Apache "

Starting Apache Server Click on Start  Programs  Apache httpd Server  Configure Apache Server  Start Apache in Console

Click on Start  Programs  Apache httpd Server  Configure Apache Server  Start Apache in Console

Test shows that Apache is on

Creating a Web front end using GenisisWeb

Converting GenisisWeb into English Open GenisisWeb Change the language as English Select the Language as English

Open GenisisWeb

Change the language as English

Select the document root Click here to choose the cgi-bin Click here to select the Subfolder

Creating GenisisWeb Application Open GeinsisWeb by clicking on Start  Programs  Application Genisis  GenisisWeb-Access base ISIS sur le web
