AvatarGrabber It's a Java SyncML client for Funambol server It uses Funambol JSE-SDK API It searches for contact avatars, using Matahari framework scraping capabilities. No need to have an account on Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace etc, because the avatar search is anonymous.
