What is Silverlight ? • Browser plugin that enables developers to improve the users experience using Rich Internet Applications • Cross platform, cross browser • The beggining was stumble, in Mix 07, the developers in Silverlight 1 had only Javascript and XAML at their disposal • At that time, it looked clear that Microsoft wants to compete Adobe Flash on its already established marketKaiserslautern, 29 March 2012
