  • “Best Government Sector Initiative in Education” Award at 2nd Digital Learning World Education Summit 2012 2nd Digital Learning World Education Summit (WES) 2012, the world’s premier platform on education thought leadership was jointly organized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies and Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd on 23-24 July 2012 in New Delhi. Background: The Summit is being co-organised by Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India; and National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) participated in 2nd Digital learning World Education Awards 2012 under the category of “Best Government Sector Initiative in Education” for “APSCHE – Intel Collaboration in Best Innovation in Education Technology for Higher Education Institutes”. APSCHE won the Jury Choice award in this category. Mr. Ashutosh Chadha, Director Corporate Affairs Group, Intel South Asia and Dr. P Sathi Reddy, Secretary, APSCHE recd the award from Prof Sudhir K Jain, Director, IIT Gandhinagar, Dr Veera Gupta, Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),
