Job Fair for Teacher Trainees at Andhra University, VizagIntel® Teach Program in collaboration with Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), AndhraUniversity conducted Job Fair for the teacher trainees for the fourth consecutive year on 15th May 2011 atPlatinum Jubilee Hall, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Smt. Dr. D Purandeswari, Minister of State forHuman Resource Development (Higher Education) Govt. of India inaugurated the Job fair and appreciatedthe efforts of IASE, Andhra University and Intel for providing a platform for schools and teacher trainees forrecruitment. Around 300 school managements, principals, correspondents, selection committees and teachertrainees attended the inaugural session.Prof. Beela Satyanarayana, Vice Chancellor, Andhra University presided over the event.Smt.Dr. D Purandeswari, Minister of State for Human Resource Development (Higher Education)Govt. of India was the chief guest and Guest of Honour was Mr. Kishore Balaji, Head, South West India,Corporate Affairs, Intel. Other dignitaries Prof. Prasad Reddy P V G D, Registrar Andhra University, Mr.Dronamraju Srinivas, MLA, Visakhapatnam, Mr. Prasanta Kumar Panda, Secretary, Visakhapatnam wereattended.120 schools from across the state participated. 1100 teacher trainees registered.
