  • Leadershipto ensure there is a flow of expertise between schools and that sustainable practices are in place to ensure this continues
    Monthly Principals’ meetings;
    TRC – registration and assessment of teachers, Dr. Peter Lind – talk & discussions around teacher training & beginning teachers (including Principals from Tasmania);
    Patsy Inda – Massey – formative assessment in action – discussions;
    Tim Whyte – AP/DP training;
    Continuation of work with John McLellan – Thirsty Thursdays, Mentor Principals.
  • Maori Successall educators use pedagogies that are known to be highly effective for Maori learners
    Use inter-cluster expertise and our attached Maori advisor to explore and implement the use of pedagogies that meet the needs of our Maori students and thereby all students
    Term 4 Principals’ meeting, meeting with MoE for discussions on KaHikitia document – MGF Rubric;
    Working with local Kura in the cluster.
