Modern Day Issue <ul><li>Some people believe that former Pope John Paul II should become a saint </li></ul><ul><li>To become a Saint there has to be proof that this person has performed 1 or more miracles </li></ul><ul><li>One of the Pope’s miracles was he had healed a French nun from Parkinson's disease </li></ul><ul><li>Recently this nun reported she again has this disease </li></ul><ul><li>Doctors are not sure if this really is Parkinson’s or just a similar disease so this may not be an example of a miracle </li></ul>Pope John Paul II waving to crowds 2 saints The Pope being goofy

Places Of Worship: Churches <ul><li>there are pews facing the alter, in some cases men and women are separated </li></ul><ul><li>usually a recognition of the saints such as pictures or statues </li></ul><ul><li>almost always a cross </li></ul><ul><li>usually shaped like a cross </li></ul><ul><li>churches are different depending on the branch of Christianity </li></ul>This is the inside of 1 Catholic church This is the inside Of an Episcopal Church This is the inside of a Greek Orthodox church
