    • Without integration, students would not know how to use certain technologies.
    • Teachers use the technology to support traditional content and teacher centered instruction.
    • Technology integration, as defined by the National Forum on Education Statistics (2005), Forum Unified Education Technology Suite , "is the incorporation of technology resources and technology-based practices into the daily routines, work, and management of schools" ( Part 8 ).

    • Technology use comes after the technology has been integrated.
    • Technology use is the actual act of students and teachers applying their knowledge to different technologies.
    • Using these different technologies can promote a deeper understanding of a curriculum.

    • Using Digital Cameras
    • Creating Powerpoints

    • Students learn from technology integration where they are actively engaged.
    • Without integration, there would be no use.
    • Technology is integrated before it is used in order to be introduced correctly.
    • Technology use helps support a students’ learning.

    • Technology integration is where the teacher initiates an understanding. Integrating is not necessarily having the students try it out themselves.
    • Technology use is where the students and teachers all engage with the technology and test their understanding as well as further their understanding.
