    • Admissions applications are available at the University College at Rockland or you may apply online .
    • Mail your application & $40 fee to:

    • Request official high school & college transcripts (or GED scores)
    • to be sent to the address above.
  • 6. Immunizations
    • Part of the admissions process is to provide verification that your immunizations are up to date. This requires you to show proof of MMR and a second MMR by having your doctor sign an immunization form .
    • If you have questions or concerns please consult the immunization policy or call the UROCK office at 596-6906.
  • 7. Apply for Financial Aid
    • Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov .
    • Include the title IV code for UMA: 006760
    • After your FAFSA is received by the federal aid processor, you will receive a student aid report (SAR).
    • After admission to a degree program, the Financial Aid Office will send an award letter offering an aid package for the academic year.
    • If you need assistance in filling out your financial aid forms, Financial Aid Advisor, Joanne Richards, holds workshops and takes walk in appointments on most Tuesdays. Call the office at 596-6906 to make an appointment.
  • 8. Schedule a Placement Test
    • Call University College at Rockland at 596-6906 to schedule a placement test designed to help you map your starting points in Reading, Writing, and Math.
    • This untimed, computer-based, multiple-choice test takes approximately two hours to complete.
  • 9. Register for Classes
    • After testing you will meet with Beverly Bayer or Deborah Meehan to schedule classes for the upcoming semester and sign up for the New Student Orientation for the Fall.
    • If you have a documented disability meet with Beverly Bayer, Student Services Coordinator to request accommodations.
