It was painted between 1509 and 1510 as a part of Raphael's commission to decorate with frescoes the rooms now known as the Stanze di Raffaello, in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican. A vile and unforgivable insult in India, this word is a piece of gentle badinage in England. 19. 19. 8. Oh, it’s a different star. The symbol was introduced in Greece as a regional symbol and popular imagery from the mid-1980s and, after 1991, increasingly so in many new contexts in Greece. It was depicted on the obverse of the Greek 100 drachmas coin of 1990-2001, and appeared on the arm patches of police in Athens. So, when X tried to use the symbol on their flag a legal battle ensued. The symbol was removed from the flag of the X as part of an agreement to establish diplomatic and economic relations between the two sides. The current flag of X contains a stylized version of the same. Give me either the symbol, or X, the country.
