Interview a Farmer PresentationMaggie RobertsonGr. 4 - MC Knoll School
Introduction of my Papa My Papa used to be a farmer. He spent most of his life on the farm. He has lots of interesting stories. Papa is retired from farming and lives in Weyburn with my Grandma Willy Nimegeers
What Did I Learn?• Wheat was the most popular crop when my Papa was young.• When he grew up, canola became more popular.• I was surprised when my Papa said his mom worked harder than his dad.• I also learned that flax was the most profitable crop for my Papa.
My Favourite Part of the Interview• I liked when my Papa spoke about the chores on the farm. Most of the work on the farm had to be done by hand.• For example, when my Papa was young, there was not such thing as a rock picking machine. The rock picker was my Papa.
