Prayer principle #1 Pray in faith focused on God’s Sovereignty & Faithfulness. Don’t allow your emotions (bitterness & sorrowfulness) caused by your situation to overrule…thus making you pray out of bitterness and anger rather than faith— believing in the faithfulness of God to answer your prayer. [Ref. Mark 11:24]
Call to action Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege and power of prayer. We come to you now in faith believing that you hear our petitions and you have a set time to answer us. Help us to guard our heart so that our prayers are not hindered by bitterness and anger that we give up and stop believing. We vow to give you praise, honor and glory always. We will be persistent in prayer as we pour out our soul to you in confidence. In Jesus’ name we pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
